This course is for those who want to learn the process of mediation in order to provide mediation services through their workplace or organization.     Workplace Conflict Management Course — Session Ten

    Join managers and supervisors in a weekly confidential cohort.  Participants receive support and insight into their workplace dilemmas and utilize the case study model in an interactive and participatory process. 

    This 10-session course uses the book:  Conflict Management in the Workplace: How to manage disagreements and develop trust and understanding by Shay and Margaret McConnon.

    Introduction to Mediation Basics Course — Session One

    This course is for those who want to learn the process of mediation in order to provide mediation services through their workplace or organization. If your goal is to join the MV Mediation roster, handle court referred small claims, housing or civil cases, take on estate, divorce, family or juvenile cases; an apprenticeship and additional course work may be required. Once you have taken a course with us we guide you through the process, so sign up!

    Sessions will be recorded. 

    Meetings will be by Zoom video conferencing. Any in-person offerings will have Zoom option.

    Many of the past participants have stated that the training to become a mediator has helped them in their work, family, and personal lives.  These skills have broad uses and the classes are fun and uplifting. Come ready to participate and interact.  All classes are by zoom.

    If you want to become a Massachusetts qualified mediator these are the first 24 hours of 40 hours required training.

    The fee for the course is on a Sliding scale —we do not turn anyone away for financial reasons.

    This 10-session course uses the book:  Conflict Management in the Workplace: How to manage disagreements and develop trust and understanding by Shay and Margaret McConnon.

    Advanced Mediation with Families, Juveniles, Divorcing and Separating Relationships

    Mediating keeping relationships in mind. Discussion topics include creating trust, learning the MA divorce and unmarried parent/partner legal system, creating a productive environment. This course is interactive and the topics will tailored based on the experience level and interests of participants.  Only for experienced mediators.

    Conflict Essentials - Session Four

    This course is designed for those seeking new approaches to workplace, relationship, family, community and professional conflicts.  Those planning to become mediators, conflict coaches and facilitators should take this course as preparation.  Each session can be attended independently. Sessions will be recorded. Meetings will be by Zoom video conferencing. 

    Any in person offerings will have Zoom option.
