CONFLICT COACHING
Conflict coaching is a 1:1 process to assist individuals to gain a new perspective. Clients, along with their coach, review healthy conflict resolution tools and strategies. At the end the client leaves with a self-determined plan to productively resolve conflict. The CLAMSHELL conflict coaching process begins with two one-hour coaching sessions. Conflict Coaching can be scheduled based on the client’s availability and is done virtually or by phone. Conflict coaching can be an alternate service when one person requests mediation but the other party declines.
In two one-hour sessions, participants will gain increased competence and confidence to manage and engage in interpersonal conflicts. Conflict coaching is a voluntary, completely confidential and a self-determined process. MVMP has five qualified Conflict Coaches available for appointments with interested community members.
