Introduction to Mediation Course

This course is designed for those who want to learn the general practice of mediation. Procedures, skills and strategies used by mediators will be examined through interactive activities. Each session includes role plays and participatory exercises. Participants become grounded in the mediation principles of confidentiality, voluntariness, neutrality and self-determination. Once participants complete the course and apprenticeship, newly qualified mediators may join the MVMP Mediator roster.
